Fertilisers are important to plant development whether grown in a pot or grown in soil. They offer a boost of the essential nutrients a plant requires to develop healthy foliage, extravagant blooms and bountiful fruits. Use a fertiliser to revitalise the soil, or feed your plant the necessary nutrients for it’s development.
Always make sure to apply fertiliser as per the instructions given with the product. Just as too much food is bad for people, too many nutrients can lead to your plant becoming unhealthy. If using a liquid fertiliser, you will usually measure it in the cap, and with water soluble fertiliser you will weigh it and add it to water. Both are very useful in the correct quantities to your plant and ensuring it continues to develop.
