Frangipani are a beautiful drought tolerant slow growing deciduous tree. They feature stunning fragrant blooms that scent intensifies at dusk to attract pollinators.

Frangipani can make a wonderful feature in your tropical style garden. In Melbourne they are best positioned in a hot micro-climate, ideally in a north facing location either against a brick wall or fence to shelter them from the frost. They can either be kept in the ground or in pots. When kept in pots it is best to relocate them during the colder months to protect them from frost and excess water. They can be potted with either terracotta & tub potting mix or cacti & succulent potting mix for a more free draining option. If planting in the ground they will require very well draining soil and minimal to no watering especially during the colder months.
