Foodcube

The Foodcube is a revolutionary new planter featuring a modular system allowing you to connect multiple of them together. The Foodcube features an inbuilt 110-litre reservoir and a 90mm connection point which can be attached to another cube or a water source.

Use your Food cube to grow vegetables and herbs easily with the in-built reservoir which will help keep them perfectly watered. This system allows you to set your plants up for extended periods of time without needing attention, freeing you up to go on holiday or take a short trip!

Each item provides a full square metre of growing space, and can be joined together with more Food cubes to allow you to water them all at once. This makes them ideal for rainwater setups, allowing you to connect it directly to your system and fill them easily. Each item holds up to 300L of potting mix so be sure to buy plenty of bags to set up your system!

BIOFILTA FOODCUBES HAVE A DEEP SOIL PROFILE AND LARGE WATER RESERVOIR AND ARE HEAVY. THE TOTAL WEIGHT OF THE CONTAINER, SOIL, WATER AND PLANTS OF A SINGLE 1.32 SQUARE METER FOODCUBE IS UP TO 400 KILOGRAMS, WHICH IS THE EQUIVALENT TO THE WEIGHT OF 5 ADULTS.

BEFORE YOU INSTALL ANY BIOFILTA PRODUCT ON DECKS, ROOFTOPS, BALCONIES OR ANY OTHER RAISED STRUCTURE YOU MUST CONSULT A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL SUCH AS STRUCTURAL ENGINEER TO ENSURE THE STRUCTURE HAS THE APPROPRIATE LOAD BEARING CAPACITY AND IS STRUCTURALLY SOUND.

PLEASE ENSURE THEY ARE INSTALLED AT AWAY FROM FALL ZONES WHERE THEY COULD BE USED AS CLIMBING STRUCTURES BY CHILDREN OR PETS. CHECK WITH LOCAL BUILDING REGULATIONS FOR SAFE DISTANCE.
