Acacia cognata ‘Green Screen’ – 33cm pot

Acacia Green Screen is an elegant, evergreen native tree with lush lime-green foliage and a weeping, compact habit. Thus making it a great addition to the garden as a feature tree. Acacia Green Screen is ideal for screening, feature tree and for large containers. Low water requirements once established, deep watering during extended periods of heat will benefit the plant. Fertilise once every 4-6 months with an Australian Native fertiliser to promote healthy growth.

Planting Tips: 
When planting Australian natives they don’t require too much work to get them settled. Fertiliser Australian native plants in the prime growing seasons, Spring and early Autumn for the best results. However, make sure to use the right food. Almost all natives dislike soils and food with high phosphorus levels, therefore when fertilising these plants make sure to use a fertiliser made especially for them with phosphorus (P) level of 3% or less.

If planting into a pot make sure that the container chosen is large enough for the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Make sure to use a premium quality Australian Native Potting Mix as this has the correct balance of wetting agents and nutrients required for having a healthy plant.
