Cherry ‘Lapins Dwarf’ – Freshly Potted*
A compact dwarf deciduous fruiting tree that is semi self-fertile does produce more fruit with cross-pollination. Cherry Lapins produces elliptic deep green leaves, which changes colour in autumn. It will require annual pruning in winter, as this will encourage a stronger branching framework, airflow through the canopy and better fruit quality. Cherry Lapins produces large rounded-heart shape fruit in clusters on new wood growth. The fruit is a deep ruby-red with blood-red, juicy and crisp flesh. The fruit is ideal for making jams, eating fresh, drying or strewing. This is a very reliable fruiting tree that is great for patios, apartments, food gardens or as a feature tree in a pot. Cherry Lapins grows best in humus-rich soil, which is well-draining.
