Cherry ‘Stella Dwarf’ – Freshly Potted
A compact dwarf deciduous fruiting tree that is semi self-fertile does produce more fruit with cross-pollination. Cherry Stella produces elliptic deep green leaves which changes colour in autumn. Will require annual pruning in winter, as this will encourage a stronger branching framework, airflow through the canopy and better fruit quality. Cherry Stella produces medium heart shape fruit in clusters on new wood growth. The fruit is a bright red with dark blood-red, juicy and crisp flesh. The fruit is ideal for making jams, cooking and eating fresh. This is a very reliable fruiting tree that is great for patios, apartments, food gardens or as a feature tree in a pot. Cherry Stella grows best in humus-rich soil which is well-draining.
