Lime Kaffir Dwarf – Various Sizes
Lime Kaffir Dwarf is a neat growing evergreen fruiting tree. The foliage is highly aromatic and a lovely rich green which doubled upon themselves. The leaves are a famous ingredient in many Southern Asian cuisines, they are best used fresh off the tree. Petite white fragrant blooms appear in late Summer early Autumn. Following the blooms, are very bumpy uneven shaped deep green fruits. The fruit is not as commonly used as it can has little juice, although this is often disputed! Fertilise Lime Kaffir throughout the peak growing seasons. Low water requirements through Winter, however, keep the tree well-watered throughout Summer.
All Citrus will take up to 3 years to produce a harvestable crop. It isn’t uncommon in the first 12-18 months for the fruit to form on the tree but be undersize or lacking flavour. In the first 12 months the tree will be establishing its roots into the soil, the second year you should be establishing the framework of the tree and then in the third year, they should begin to crop. Uneven weather conditions can also affect the fruiting times, crops and yield.
