Aphelandra Zebra Plant is an evergreen, compact, small shrub with stunning dark green, waxy leaves with silver-white markings. The yellow cone-shaped flowers appear on a long stem in Spring. Best grown indoors or in conservatories where they have protection from cold weather. Aphelandra Zebra Plant prefers a warm, well-lit environment. Do not place in direct sunlight as it will scorch the foliage. Keep them moist but not waterlogged. Use tepid water. Adding peat moss to a premium potting mix will ensure good water retention.
