Ficus elastica Tineke – various sizes

Ficus elastica Tineke is easy to grow indoor plant suitable for brightly lit rooms. A robust, evergreen, tropical shrub with decorative foliage. The large leaves are glossy and variegated. Pigments range from green, grey, yellow and pink all year round. The new growth emerges as a pink salmon and changes with age. These tropical plants are best grown indoors in cooler climates as they are sensitive to colder weather and frosty conditions. Ficus elastica Tineke has low water requirements once established; however, before watering check to feel if the soil is dry. Fertiliser in Spring and Summer will encourage strong, healthy new growth. Plants can be pruned to the desired height and shape as this will promote neater growth.
