Rhapis Lady Palm is an elegant, clumping, slow-growing palm with fan-shaped, dark green leaves. The bamboo-like stems grow from a slender trunk that is covered in soft, dark fibres. Rhapis Lady Palm is ideal indoors, in conservatories, outdoors in tropical gardens, or in pots on verandahs. Position indoors in a well-lit room but will tolerate low light. Outdoors in full shade to part shade sheltered position in well-drained soils. Avoid draught prone positions as they will damage the foliage. Use a premium potting mix. Rhapis Lady Palm has moderate water requirements, however, keep moist in summer and allow the plant to dry out in between each watering in winter. Do not let the plant sit in water for extended periods of time.
