Carpet Rose Gold is highly disease resistant and can tolerate heavy frost. From Spring, petite semi-double, buttercup-yellow blooms appear. The flowers have a pleasant fragrance and a notable ability to retain beautiful, yellow colour for the entire life of the flower even after rainfall. This is easy to grow, sprawling rose ideal as a living mulch in the garden. Low maintenance with no spraying required due to their great disease-resistance. All the carpet roses are ‘self-cleaning’ and very rarely require deadheading. Roses require moderate watering, especially during hot weather. Applying a layer of mulch around the base of the plant will help to retain moisture during dry periods.
