Bacopa ‘Violet’ – 14cm pot

Bacopa Violet is a fast-growing ground cover producing masses of purple-toned flowers for much of the year. Its compact trailing habit makes it ideal for pots and hanging baskets, in rockeries and as a filler in garden beds. Keep Bacopa Violet moist during the hotter periods of the year, applying fertiliser during the growing season will improve the overall size of the flowers and encourage a stronger healthier plant.

Planting Tips:
Make sure to prepare the soil prior to planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to condition and revitalise tired soil. Make sure to blend compost/manure with the pre-existing soil, mixing together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepare, dig a hole which is wider, but not deeper, than what the original size of the pot the plant has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.

If planting into a pot, make sure the container selected is large enough for the plant which is going to be planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
