Angelica Pachycarpa – 14cm Pot
Angelica pachycarpa is a hardy, herbaceous woodland perennial best grown in a shaded position. Ideal as a filler in garden beds, a feature plant or planted in pots. From late Spring through to Summer, large clusters of white blooms appear which are bird and butterfly attracting. The foliage is a deep glossy green, making it a lovely contrast plant against other perennials in the garden. Fertiliser throughout the peak growing seasons with preferred fertiliser. Angelica pachycarpa has moderate water requirements once established and is best grown in humus-rich soil.

Make sure to prepare the soil prior to planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to improve soil conditions and revitalise it with the required nutrients to grow plants. Make sure to blend with pre-existing soil, mixing together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepared, dig a hole which is wider but not deeper than the original size of the pot the plant has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.
If planting into a pot make sure that the container chosen is large enough for the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
