Camellia japonica x Camellia lutchuensis ‘Cinnamon Cindy’
- Upright, large shrub with glossy, dark green, oval leaves. Clusters of small, fragrant, white peony flowers with blushing pink outer petal appear in early winter.
- Use in cottage gardens, general landscaping or as a hedge (plant 80cm apart for a lush and dense hedge).
- Position: part shade in rich, moist, well drained soils. Will not grow in clay or alkaline soils.
- Water
requirements: moderate once established. Keep moist during the warmer
months. Do not spray water on the foliage when temperatures are above 25
degrees as it will burn the leaves. - Size: can reach 3 metre in height and 2 metre in width. Prune after flowering to maintain desired shape and size.
