Camellia Magnoliaeflora is a compact, upright, evergreen shrub with big glossy, dark green, oval leaves. In Winter, the plant produces beautiful delicate semi-double, soft pink flowers with lavender and white undertones. Prune after flowering to desired height and shape, this will encourage a bushy growth habit and the future development of flowers. Camellias have moderate water requirements once established, deep soaking in the peak of summer will benefit the plant. Prefers to be grown in humus-rich soil which is well-draining. Camellia Magnoliaeflora is best used for screening or as a feature tree.
