*Please note: Cyclamens are generally treated as an annual plant.
The reason behind this is the flowers and foliage will die down in late Spring, before remerging in the Autumn, to flower in the for the Winter months. Avoid overwatering as this can lead to root rot and the collapse of the plant.
Easy Colour seedlings are grown to an advanced size, with each plant in its own individual cell to minimise transplant shock.
Planting Tips:
Make sure to prepare the soil prior to planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to conditions and revitalise tired soil. Make sure to blend with pre-existing soil, mixing together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepared, dig a hole which is wider, but not deeper, than what the original size of the pot the plant has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.
If planting into a pot make sure that the container chosen is large enough for the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
