Osteospermum ‘African Daisy 3D Banana Shake’ – 14cm pot
A hardy, fast-growing, evergreen, compact, small shrub. Bright apricot petals turn to golden-yellow with age. The stamens are burgundy-rust colour. Flowers appear from early Spring through to late Autumn. African Daisy plants are a very versatile plant as they can be grown in all sorts of climate conditions, drought tolerant once established and can tolerate coastal conditions. Drought tolerant once established and can tolerate coastal gardens with salt winds. Low water requirements, benefits from occasional watering during extended periods of heat. Prune once flowers finished encouraging a neat, tidy shape.

Planting Tips:
Make sure to prepare the soil prior to planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to conditions and revitalise tired soil. Make sure to blend with pre-existing soil, mixing together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepare, dig a hole which is wider, but not deeper, than what the original size of the pot the plant has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.
If planting into a pot make sure that the container chosen is large enough for the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
