About the range:
The Heatwave range has been bred in Australia and purposely to retain a compact, neat growth habit and to tackle the current dry climate faced by many Aussie gardeners, all whilst providing an amazing colour display throughout the year. These plants thrive in the sun and can tolerate dry, open soils that may lack moisture during dry spells. The Heatwave range has smaller, narrow foliage, giving a tighter, dense effect. In this range, there is a colour for any garden design with shades ranging from vibrant purples through to pinks, whites and fiery reds. The Heatwave range is ideal for potted containers as a bright cheerful display, as these plants can survive in a pot for their entire life, this is all thanks to their compact growth. Adding colour to a balcony, patio or by the front door has never been so easy.
Why plant?
These are highly rewarding plants as they can provide a safe haven for many of our friendly pollinators, all whilst being a fantastic food source for our native and exotic bees. They are long-flowering plants which are perfect for cottage-style gardens or for a potted display. They can be pruned after flowering to encourage a second flush of flowers to emerge within a matter of just a few weeks. These are easy to grow, colourful perennials that any keen gardener would want in their garden!
