Leucospermum formosum ‘Carnival Peach’
Leucospermum Carnival Peach is a medium, hardy, evergreen shrub which has decorative small, coarse, leaves which are a lovely mid-green colour. In Spring, a profusion of large peach and apricot pin-cushion shaped flowers appear. The flowers can be used in floral arrangements as they hold their colour for long periods of time. Their flowers are highly bird attracting. Best used in native gardens, coastal gardens, general landscaping, pots or as a medium-sized hedge. Best grown in full sun and well-draining soil, will not grow in alkaline or boggy/clay soils. If planting into larger pots, make sure to use a native potting mix. Leucospermum Carnival Peach has low water requirements once established in the garden. The first 12-18 months it is important to maintain good watering practices as this is vital to the plant’s establishment.
