Camellia sasanqua ‘Paradise Hilda’
- Vigorous, large shrub with small, glossy, dark green, oval leaves. In autumn
and early winter the plant is covered in medium size mid-pink flowers of the informal peony form.
in cottage gardens, general landscaping or as a hedge (plant 80cm apart
for a lush and dense hedge). Suitable for espalier and pots.
full sun to part shade in rich, moist, well drained soils. Will not
grow in clay or alkaline soils. Use a premium potting mix if grown in a
requirements: moderate once established. Keep moist during the warmer
months. Do not spray water on the foliage when temperatures are above 25
degrees as it will burn the leaves.
- Size: can reach 3 metre in height and 2 metre in width. Prune after flowering to maintain desired shape and size.
