Helleborus x hybrid ‘Double White’ – 14cm

Hellebore ‘Double White’ is  hardy, evergreen, clumping perennial with dark green, leathery foliage. Beautiful ruffled double white flowers with yellow stamens appearing in Winter and early Spring. Low water requirements once established in the garden, occasional watering during the warmer months will help keep the plant lush and healthy. Best used for potted displays or as a groundcover.

Planting Tips:
Make sure to prepare the soil before planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to condition and revitalise tired soil. Make sure to blend compost/manure with the pre-existing soil, mixing thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepared, dig a wider hole, but not deeper, than the original size of the pot the plant has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.

If planting into a pot, make sure the container selected is large enough for the plant to be planted. Never pot a plant into a container that is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
