Lavandula pedunculata ‘Violet Lace’
A compact neat growing Lavender with vibrant smokey purple-blue blooms on top of neat grey-green aromatic foliage. Main flowering in Spring, as well as spot flowering through Autumn and Winter. Lavender Violet Lace is great for smaller gardens and patios, a low hedge, border or as a filler in garden beds. Prune after flowering to promote dense new growth and further flowering. Low-moderate watering requirements once established. Applying a layer of mulch around the base 0f the plant will help to retain moisture at the roots during hot, dry weather.

Planting Tips:
Make sure to prepare the soil prior to planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to condition and revitalise tired soil. Make sure to blend compost/manure with the pre-existing soil, mixing together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepare, dig a hole which is wider, but not deeper, than what the original size of the pot the plant has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.

If planting into a pot, make sure the container selected is large enough for the plant which is going to be planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
