Planting Tips:
Make sure to prepare the soil before planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to condition and revitalise tired soil. Make sure to blend compost/manure with the pre-existing ground, mixing thoroughly. Once the ground has been prepared, dig a wider holder, but not deeper, than the pot’s original size has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.
The container selected needs to be large enough for the plant chosen. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
