Magnolia x loebneri ‘Leonard Messell’ – 40cm pot

Magnolia Leonard Messel is a tall deciduous shrub with attractive foliage and a compact growth habit. In late Winter stunning star-shaped pale lilac/pink flowers appear on bare branches. Magnolia Leonard Messel makes a fantastic feature shrub working well with another winter/spring flowering plants such as Hellebores and Camellias. They have moderate water requirements once established, deep soaking in the peak of summer will benefit the plant. Prefers to be grown in humus-rich, well-draining soil with an application of good quality fertiliser in Spring. Best used as a single specimen tree.
