Blueberry Ash

Elaeocarpus reticulatus

Blueberry Ash is a tough and hardy native tree with dark green foliage and a compact growth habit. In Spring to Summer, dainty pinkish-white frilled flowers are followed by blue, bird attracting berries. Very little maintenance required, this is an ideal plant for hedging or feature tree.

Height: 6-8m when fully grown.

Width: 3m.

Positioning: Full sun or part shade.

Watering: Water regularly once established except in dry periods where it will benefit from a deep soaking.

Soil: Prefers a well drained soil. Fertilise in spring and early autumn with a fertiliser specifically formulated for natives.
