Cercis canadensis

A spectacular medium size, deciduous tree with large heart-shaped foliage which changes colours throughout the year. Spring foliage emerges green and then matures to a deep plum-purple. In Autumn the purple foliage changes to shades of vibrant red, orange and yellow before dropping its leaves for Winter.

Height: 3-4m when fully grown.

Width: 4m, 20-33cm (Pot.)

Positioning: Part shade- full sun.

Watering: Water occasionally once established.

Soil: Prefers a well drained soil.
