Lime Tahitian Dwarf Espalier – Various Sizes
Lime Tahitian Dwarf Espalier is a highly decorative tree all year round, the foliage is a shiny rich deep-green. When flower buds emerge they are white with yellow undertones and a wonderful fragrance. The fruit begins to develop in March to April. The fruit is an oval-rounded shape fruit with lush green skin and lime juicy flesh.
Tahitian Limes are fantastic for flavouring dishes, used fresh in salads and in drinks. Fertilise newly planted trees with a citrus fertiliser to help settle them, the best times to feed citrus is from September through to March. Citrus can take heavy pruning, but this is not usually done unless transplanting or there has been damage to the limbs. They are best pruned in November or December as this minimises fruit loss and damage to new growth. Almost all citrus can be grown in pots, however, there are varieties which are better suited. This dwarf Tahitian Lime is ideal to be grown in a container.
