Hydrangea Pink Lace – 20cm
Hydrangea Pink Lace is a beautiful stately, medium-sized, deciduous shrub that produces lush-green leaves. From late Spring flower buds begin to form, opening to reveal large, soft-pink lace flower heads in Summer. In late Autumn the foliage will turn from green to yellow before dropping for dormancy in Winter. Best use in cottage gardens, mass plantings under deciduous trees, general landscaping and pots. Hydrangea Pink Lace has moderate-high water requirements. Keep the plant moist during the warmer months. Applying a layer of mulch around the base of the plant can assist in retaining moisture. Hydrangeas are best grown in humus-rich soil. Prune 2/3 of the plant in early spring to encourage new growth and flowering.

Planting Tips:
Garden beds: Make sure to prepare the soil before planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to condition and revitalise tired soil. Make sure to blend compost/manure with the pre-existing ground, mixing thoroughly. Once the ground has been prepare, dig a hole which is broader, but not deeper, than what the original size of the pot the plant has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.
Container Gardens: If planting into a pot, the container selected is large enough for the plant selected. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
