Hydrangea ‘Sundae Fraise’

Hydrangea ‘Sundae Fraise’ is a new variety sure to be sought after due to its ability to withstand full sun positions and great flowering performance. Sundae Fraise rewards with masses of white flowers throughout the summer and autumn months. Blooms start green before turning white and then evolve through a range of pinks. This is a compact and fast-growing variety that is best planted in a sunny location. Perfect for containers, patios or garden beds in the morning sun and afternoon shade. Hydrangea Sundae Fraise is best grown in hum-rich soil, in a shaded position where it gets protection from the late afternoon sun. Apply a layer of mulch around the base of the plant in Spring as this will help to retain moisture for longer in the soil during dry spells

Planting Tips:
Make sure to prepare the soil prior to planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to condition and revitalise tired soil. Make sure to blend compost/manure with the pre-existing soil, mixing together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepare, dig a hole that is wider, but not deeper, than the original size of the pot the plant has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.

If planting into a pot, make sure the container selected is large enough for the plant which is going to be planted. Never pot a plant into a container that is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
