In 1979, Grammy Ward-winning musician and instrument designer Garry Kvistad founded Woodstock Percussion with a single great idea – to make the world’s best sounding wind chime. He’s been creating his world-famous, musically tuned Woodstock Chimes ever since. Chimes of Mars is designed and handcrafted for superior musical performance and is hand-tuned to a five note scale found all over the world. Mars is named after the Roman war god because of it’s blood-coloured, iron-rich surface. It’s atmosphere is too thin for water, yet there are signs of ancient floods. Unraveling the story of water on Mars is expected to hold clues about whether Mars was ever a habitat for life.
