Grevillea rhyolitica ‘Deua’

A reliable evergreen Grevillea with rich green narrow leaves. Bright red flowers throughout the year, which are bird attracting. Dense, spreading growth habit, ideal as a standalone shrub or informal hedge.  Grevillea Deua is ideal as a filler plant or potted up into larger containers for a decorative display. Low water requirements and frost tolerant once established. Prune Grevillea Deua after flowering to keep to desired shape and size.

Planting Tips: 
When planting Australian natives they don’t require too much work to get them settled. Fertiliser Australian native plants in the prime growing seasons, Spring and early Autumn for the best results. However, make sure to use the right food. Almost all natives dislike soils and food with high phosphorus levels, therefore when fertilising these plants make sure to use a fertiliser made especially for them with phosphorus (P) level of 3% or less.

If planting into a pot make sure that the container chosen is large enough for the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Make sure to use a premium quality Australian Native Potting Mix as this has the correct balance of wetting agents and nutrients required for having a healthy plant.
