Hardenbergia ‘Free and Easy’ – 14cm pot

Hardenbergia Free and Easy is an attractive, evergreen, native climber with long green leaves. Long Westeria-like flowers emerge in Winter and Spring. Easy to grow and extremely hardy. Hardenbergia White Out can tolerate a light frost. Once the flowers have finished, give the whole plant a light prune to your desired shape and size as this will encourage new healthy growth. Low water requirements once established the plant will benefit from a deep soaking in the peak of summer.

Planting Tips: 
When planting Australian natives they don’t require too much work to get them settled. Fertiliser Australian native plants in the prime growing seasons, Spring and early Autumn for the best results. However, make sure to use the right food. Almost all natives dislike soils and food with high phosphorus levels, therefore when fertilising these plants make sure to use a fertiliser made especially for them with phosphorus (P) level of 3% or less.

If planting into a pot make sure that the container chosen is large enough for the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Make sure to use a premium quality Australian Native Potting Mix as this has the correct balance of wetting agents and nutrients required for having a healthy plant.
