Nectarine Nectared Dwarf – 25cm pot
Compact, deciduous dwarf nectarine fruit tree with shapely branches. Nectarine Nectared has long-slender bright green leaves which drop in the winter months. The compact height makes this an ideal tree for smaller gardens, patios or large container pots. Nectarine Nectared grows best in humus-rich soil, which is well-draining. The fruit is a large size with a rounded shape and light red skin. This is a semi-freestone fruit with delicious, sweet yellow flesh—ideal for eating fresh, stewing, jam, cooking and preserving.
Nectarine Flavortop benefits from annual pruning in winter once the foliage has finished dropping. This will encourage a stronger branching network, airflow through the canopy and better fruit quality.

Planting Tips:
Prepare the soil before planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost will help to condition and revitalise tired soils. If adding organic matter to your soil, make sure to blend the compost or animal manure with pre-existing soil, mixing/digging it together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepared, dig a wider hole, but not deeper, than the pot’s original size has come in. Position the plant in the hole, backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Do not bury the graft of the plant. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.
Suppose planting into a pot. The container chosen is large enough to accommodate the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container that is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
