Carica pentagona ‘Babaco’ – 14cm pot – Champagne Fruit

An attractive evergreen tropical tree with large palmate glossy leaves. Produces long, torpedo-shaped golden fruit. The flesh is a light, refreshing, slightly acidic flavour with hints of pineapple and pawpaw undertones. Requires moderate watering once established.
Frost sensitive, young and mature plants need protection from frost.
