Calathea rufibarba 
A beautiful evergreen tropical plant. Calathea rufibarba is a smaller growing variety with long narrow foliage. Mature foliage is dark green with a deep purple underside. Calathea rufibarba is best grown indoors in indirect light, as it requires protection from cold weather. Water regularly to keep moist but don’t allow to sit in water.

If you have heating units or air-conditioners, it is best to avoid placing plants underneath or next to them. This is because the air blowing out from these units can be very hot and dry, leaving a healthy plant burnt, damaged, and stressed.
