Sansevieria – Assorted Varieties and Pot Sizes

Sansevieria also is known as the snake plant, is a tall, evergreen plant that is best grown indoors especially in colder climates. It has striking architectural tall foliage which is two-toned. Leaves have a deep green centre with vibrant gold banding. It has a smaller, compact growth habit compared to other varieties. This is a great plant for beginners as it has low water and feeding requirements. They can be grown in a bright room with indirect light, however, they can tolerate lower light conditions. Taking a damp cloth and wiping the foliage down every 2-3 months will help to remove any dust build-up. These are best used as a decorative pot plant indoors and can help improve the air quality by removing VOCs.
