David Austin Rose ‘Charles Darwin’ – 20cm Pot
*2 Year Old Freshly Potted Winter Rose*
The blooms of Charles Darwin Rose are some of the largest to be found in the English Roses and are on a par with Brother Cadfael and Golden Celebration, creating a really impressive effect in the garden. The flowers are very full and rounded at first, then opening up to a shallow cup. They are a lovely shade of rich yellow – almost Old Gold – sometimes with lemony or sandy tints. It makes a most attractive, bushy and eye catching shrub that is very healthy and would be ideal for towards the front of a mixed or pure rose border. Best used in English garden designs, cottage gardens or in pots. Roses require moderate watering, especially during hot weather. Applying a layer of mulch around the base of the plant will help to retain moisture during dry periods.
