Grape Hyacinth – Mount Hood – 8 Bulbs

Beautiful blue flowers with white tops. Easy to grow. Great planted in pots/containers but also works well in the garden. Makes a wonderful cut flower.

Planting Time: Plant from March onwards

Depth: Plant 8cm deep.

Flowering: Late winter / Early spring.

Positioning: Prefers a full sun to partial shade position, in well drained soil.

Soil: A well drained organically rich soil is best.

Cultivation: Prepare your soil by digging through well rotted manure a few weeks prior to planting your bulbs, top dress as buds appear. Bulbs can be left undisturbed for many years to naturalise or lift when clumps thicken, waiting till the foliage turns yellow. Store in a cool, well ventilated, dry environment.
