“Ad Rem” tulips have a interesting bloom. Their colour may be described as hot pink flowing into a yellow margin with subtle gradient.. They have large blooms with a perfect triangular shape when closed, and strong tall stems. This makes them the most popular cut flower variety. Ideal for pots and garden beds, they prefer a full sun to part shade position and require shelter from strong winds.

How To sow/maintain: Plant 10-15cm deep 10cm apart in full sun or part shade. Best grown in a well prepared, good draining soil. They are not fond of overly acidic conditions. In our climate, tulips are best treated as annuals although in cooler areas they can be lifted and stored in a cool place for replanting next season.

Flowering period: Late Winter / Spring

Watering: Tulips require damp but not saturated soil. They may tolerate short periods of dryness and heat but this is not favourable
