The Rosella or ‘Queensland Jam Plant’ is grown for its red, fleshy fruit, which are prized for the making of jelly and jams with a cranberry like flavour.

Requires a warm growing season of at least 6 months, making it best grown in sub-tropical climates, but with a bit of care, can be grown in Melbourne.
