Sow August  to  December – contains 50 seeds

Mix of red, orange and yellow chillies • Fiercely hot, long and slender fruits • Bushy prolific plants • An eye-catching display in pots or garden.

Capsicum annuum

Drop seeds 6mm (0.25in) deep in seed tray or punnet, in seed raising mix or compost. Keep moist. Thin (prick out) into 10cm (4in) pots when large enough to handle. Plant in final position when about 15cm (6in) tall, spacing plants 50cm (20in) apart. Prepare the soil by adding organic material and a complete fertiliser.
