Salvia Red – 4 Advanced Seedlings
Salvia Red is a low growing annual which produces stems of vibrant fire-red flowers. When flowers have finished, remove and feed with a liquid fertiliser, as this will encourage another flush of blooms to appear. Salvia Red has moderate to high water requirements during their growing seasons, plants will benefit from deep soakings in the peak of Spring.

Planting Tips:
Make sure to prepare the soil prior to planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to conditions and revitalise tired soil. Make sure to blend with pre-existing soil, mixing together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepare, dig a hole which is wider, but not deeper, than what the original size of the pot the plant has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.
If planting into a pot make sure that the container chosen is large enough for the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
