Lavender Fairy Wings Whimsical is a neat, rounded, evergreen perennial which is a show stopper in the garden. From late Winter through Spring, an abundance of antique pink flowers with pale-pink bracts form above the foliage. The leaves are a lovely bright green and are aromatic. This is an outstanding garden performer as they will tolerate extended periods of dry weather conditions. Lavender Fairy Wings Whimsical is great for smaller gardens and patio areas, planted as a low hedge or border plant, even a filler plant in garden beds. Prune after flowering to promote dense new growth and further flowering. Low-moderate watering requirements once established. Applying a layer of mulch around the base 0f the plant will help to retain moisture at the roots during hot, dry weather.
