Agave ovatifolia ‘Whales Tongue’- 50cm Pot – Advanced Specimen
A rare and unusual succulent. Agave Whales Tongue has spectacular, rigid blue-grey cupped foliage. It makes a fantastic feature plant in a pot or in the ground. Low water requirements, avoid overwatering in cooler weather conditions as this could lead to root rot. The Agave Whales Tongue can survive long periods without water, however, it is always recommended to check the soil prior to watering. If the soil feels wet there is no need to water, if the soil feels dry then give it some water. Apply a slow-release fertiliser once every 6 months to promote healthy growth, avoid using liquid concentrates as succulents dislike sudden high-intakes of nitrogen as it can cause limp growth. Succulents are best used for potted displays or planted out into the garden.
