Magnolia x soulangeana ‘Black Tulip’ – various sizes

Magnolia Black Tulip is an upright deciduous tree with attractive foliage and a compact growth habit. In late Winter stunning tulip-shaped purple/black flowers appear on bare branches. Magnolia Black Tulip makes a fantastic feature tree working well with another winter/spring flowering plants such as Hellebores and Camellias. They have moderate water requirements once established, deep soaking in the peak of summer will benefit the plant. Prefers to be grown in humus-rich, well-draining soil with an application of good quality fertiliser in Spring. Best used as a single specimen tree.
