Craspedia Variabilis ‘Golden Buttons’ – 14cm Pot
An evergreen, low-growing native plant with grey-green foliage and clumping growth habit. Craspedia Golden Buttons is extremely useful as it can be planted in all types of gardens situations. Ideal for patio, cottage, coastal, native gardens or as a container plant. In spring stalks of yellow rounded sphere flowers appear above the foliage. Blooms are bee attracting. Golden Buttons has low water requirements and dislikes being grown in poor draining soils. Best grown in sandy to sandy loam soils.

Planting Tips:
When planting Australian natives they don’t require too much work to get them settled. Fertiliser Australian native plants in the prime growing seasons, Spring and early Autumn for the best results. However, make sure to use the right food. Almost all natives dislike soils and food with high phosphorus levels, therefore when fertilising these plants make sure to use a fertiliser made especially for them with phosphorus (P) level of 3% or less.
If planting into a pot make sure that the container chosen is large enough for the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Make sure to use a premium quality Australian Native Potting Mix as this has the correct balance of wetting agents and nutrients required for having a healthy plant.
