Pear William Bon Chretien – Freshly Potted*
An upright deciduous fruiting tree that requires pollination for fruit development. Pear William Bon Chretien produces long stems with elliptic deep green leaves, which change colour in autumn. Requires annual pruning in winter. This will encourage a stronger branching framework, airflow through the canopy and better fruit quality. Medium to large ovate-pyriform fruit with pale green ripening to yellow skin. The flesh is a white colour with a juicy, firm, fine-grained texture. Ideal for eating fresh, cooking, drying or preserving. An ideal tree for smaller gardens, patios, apartments, food gardens or planted into a large pot. Grows best in humus-rich soil, which is well-draining.
