Ficus ‘Midnight Beauty’

‘Midnight Beauty’ is a stunning variety of Ficus with very dark green leaves and a vigorous bushy growth habit. They make an ideal indoor feature plant due to its tolerance of low light and resistance to leaf drop. Perfect for pots and containers in outdoor shaded areas or around pools. They are quite durable as they will tolerate a bit of morning sun or shaded positions.

For best results use a slow release fertiliser in Spring and late Summer. Water regularly when the soil has completely dried out but less frequently in Winter. ‘Midnight Beauty’ can be re-potted in the warmer months if it becomes too large for its current pot.

Height & Width: 2mx 1.5m when grown in pots, however this plant has the ability to grow into a very large tree (10-15m) if planted outside. They can make a beautiful outdoor feature tree if planted in a shaded position from the hot afternoon sun and in an isolated garden bed as they have an invasive root system.
