Prunus ‘Weeping Cherry Rosea’ Short – 33cm pot
A decorative ornamental tree that is very well known for its stunning floral displays. In early Spring, the weeping branches will have masses of soft pink flowers. Moderate water requirements and the plant will benefit from occasional watering in Summer. Weeping Cherry Rosea requires fertile, humus-rich friable soil to grow in. These weeping cherries are perfect for an entry display, potted, or featured in the garden.

Planting Tips:
Prepare the soil before planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost will help to condition and revitalise tired soils. If adding organic matter to your soil, make sure to blend the compost or animal manure with pre-existing soil, mixing/digging it together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepared, dig a wider hole, but not deeper, than the pot’s original size has come in. Position the plant in the hole, backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Do not bury the graft of the plant. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.

Suppose planting into a pot. The container chosen is large enough to accommodate the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container that is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
